Preparing International Students to Serve Christ in Their Home Countries.

Almost every day, graduates of Western universities return to their home countries, many as new ambassadors for Christ. Though vibrant in their walk with Him when they step off the plane, the realities and challenges of life at home can quickly dim their passion. Preparing these students to go home again is essential to their long-term faithfulness and fruitfulness. With more than 40 years of ministry experience among internationals, Nate Mirza provides insight into the re-entry challenges these students face, as well as practical strategies and resources to prepare them for a lifetime of service for Christ.

This wonderfully comprehensive introduction to missionary life and work comes from a person whose long and effective experience in ministry adds authenticity to what he writes. I am happy that some topics vital to missions, which are usually neglected in books of this nature, like the need to recover the lost art of disciple-making, are tackled with expert knowledge here. Anyone thinking of the call to missions would be greatly enriched by reading this book.
Ajith Fernando, National Director, Youth for Christ, Sri Lanka

“I was excited to read this revised new edition of the book, When You Cross Cultures which was first published in 1990. While many books on the subject of crossing cultures have been written, this book carries a strong Asian flavor with reflections from an Asian perspective. The book has a wonderful simplicity with a richness in real-life stories. The book is strongly biblically based but pays attention to contemporary situations - a very practical book for those ministering in cross-cultural situations as well as for church leaders."
DR PATRICK FUNG General Director, OMF International
